All Star Theatre announces auditions for 'Cabaret' - Monitor

“The 1967 stage musical was adapted into an Oscar-winning lm, and the 1998 Broadway revival rand for six years at the infamous Studio 54,” stated UTPA Associate Professor Trey Mikolasky, also a “Cabaret” consultant. “This classic musical is perfect for the style of All Star Theatre productions. Acting auditions for this exciting summer project will be held from 6 to 9 p. m. Thursday, June 4, and Friday, June 5 at Project Studio, located at 605 E. Violet, Suite #5 in McAllen. Dance auditions will be held from 6 to 9 p. m. Friday, June 12. For the audition, dancers will learn a short routine to be presented in groups. Cabaret has proven to be a dancer’s heaven, and All Star Theatre encourages male and female dancers of all levels to audition for the production.
