FAYETTEVILLE, N. C. (WNCN) – Fayetteville Police say they are looking for a 43-year-old Fayetteville man who they say stole two cars and three guns during three home invasions that happened in just 18 hours. Police said the home invasions, which began Monday afternoon and ended Tuesday around 8 a. m. , happened to victims ages 50-71. During the home invasions, the suspect — now identified as Curtis Perry King of Tryon Road — stole money, weapons and... The victim, a 50 year old male, returned home to find the suspect inside of his residence. The suspect took the victim’s cell phone and wallet before fleeing in the victim’s 2011 Ford Fusion. The Ford Fusion was later recovered in the 6000 block of Yadkin Road at 10:54 p. m. Monday At approximately 10:30 p. m. on Monday, officers responded to the 1200 block of Durden Lane in reference to another reported home invasion. Upon hearing someone attempting to force their way into his residence, the 69 year old male victim armed himself with a shotgun which was forcibly taken from him once the suspect made entry into the residence.
