Memorial services planned for Van Zandt County boy hit by car - KSLA-TV
Memorial services are being planned for 12-year-old boy who was hit and killed by a car while crossing the street Friday night. According to DPS Trooper Jean Dark, the crash occurred at approximately 8:23 p. m. Friday in Van Zandt County, around two miles north of Canton, on Highway 19. . A preliminary investigation shows a 2012 Ford Flex was driving southbound down... His body was taken to Eubanks Funeral Home in Canton. Fruitvale Independent School District, where Phillips was a student, will host a candlelight vigil in front of the Hallie Randall Elementary School building at 8 p. m. Tuesday.
