3 arrested after 100-mph chase in Bremer County - Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier
The pursuit, which started in Bremer County just after midnight and ended inside Black Hawk County, was brought to a close by state troopers who used anti-tire devices. Bremer County deputy stopped a 2006 Ford 500 on U. S. Highway 218 for speeding about one mile south of Plainfield around 12:10 a. m. When the driver was unable to show a driver’s license, he drove off. Trooper with the Iowa State Patrol used Stop Sticks twice during the chase, and the car came to a stop just south of Bennington Road. Davon Garner, 18, who was driving, and passenger Sabrina Flowers, 18, along with a 14-year-old unidentified girl, all of Minneapolis, were arrested and charged with second-degree possession of stolen property, according to the Bremer County...
