2016 GMC Terrain First Look - Motor Trend

The new Terrain gains some minor exterior tweaks and will continue to come in four trim levels, including the more upmarket Denali model. Powertrain choices are unchanged from the pre-face-lifted Terrain and include a 182-hp, 2. 4-liter I-4 and a 301-hp, 3. 6-liter V-6. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive remains available in all but the SL trim level. Although it's mechanically related to the Chevrolet Equinox — which has just been refreshed — the GMC Terrain is the more upscale crossover, especially in the chrome-clad Denali trim, which is available with interior and exterior appointments... Exterior changes include chrome-accented grilles in the SLE, SLT, and Denali grades, LED daytime running lights on higher trim levels, a power dome hood design, and revised front and rear fascia with chrome accents. Two additional exterior colors, White Frost Tricoat and Crimson Red Tintcoat, are new for 2016.
