NEW YORK ( MainStreet ) — "Green" cars are getting lots of publicity ahead of next week's Earth Day, but here's a look at 2015's "meanest" automotive models — those that the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy says are the worst for... "These are all either very heavy vehicles with poor fuel economy or very high-powered sports cars with big engines. That shoots them right to the top of the list," says Shruti Vaidayanathan of the council , a think tank that lobbies for ecofriendly U. S. policies. The council recently released its 18th annual Greener Car rankings , which analyzed all major 2015 vehicles for their lifetime pollution output, from manufacturing-related smog to tailpipe emissions.
