Police observed a 1997 Dodge Ram turn on a red light in the area of Fort Street and West Road at about 12:30 p. m. Aug. After running the man’s identification information, it appeared as though the man gave police a wrong name. The man was arrested for giving false information to a police officer. Police were dispatched to the area of Fort Street and West Road in reference to a caller saying a driver was swerving from lane to lane at about 10 p. m. Aug. After observing a vehicle matching the given description, police conducted a traffic stop and met with the driver. A license identification check revealed the man’s license was suspended, and he admitted to taking several narcotic drugs prior to driving.
