A merger between Lawrenceville’s Gwinnett Medical Center and Northside Hospital is being negotiated. Northside Hospital CEO Bob Quattrocchi and Gwinnett Medical Center CEO Phil Wolfe released statements saying they are targeting early 2016 as a potential closing date for the deal. Northside operates hospitals in Canton and Cumming as well as its flagship hospital in Sandy Springs, which it says delivers more babies than any other U.
