Motorcyclist severely injured in Aurora crash - 9NEWS.com
AURORA – A motorcyclist was severely injured Sunday night after hitting a minivan while running a red light, according to the Aurora Police Department. It happened shortly after 9:10 p. m. at the intersection of South Winston Street and East Hampden Avenue. Officers found a 2003 Grey Suzuki GXR R1000 motorcycle in the westbound lanes of East Hampden Avenue along with a 2011 Gold Honda Odyssey minivan just south of it. Police say the minivan driver was making a left turn from southbound South Winston... The minivan driver had a green light. The motorcyclist was heading westbound on East Hampden Avenue in the center lane at a high rate of speed. The motorcyclist ran the red light and struck the driver's side of the minivan. Police say the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet but suffered serious injuries. Source: www.9news.com
