ANAHEIM – There will be no disturbance in the Force when fans of the space movie franchise from a galaxy far, far away comes to the Anaheim Convention Center next week. Lucasfilm’s four-day Star Wars Celebration kicks off on Thursday. Organizers are estimating the 10th “Star Wars” fan convention will draw more than 100,000 people. Aside from the big names such as Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill expected to attend, panels about the next generation of “Star Wars” movies that continue the original space saga will take center stage at the convention, which is making its Anaheim... Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy and director J. J. Abrams will kick off the celebration on Thursday with a panel about “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” the first in a line of upcoming “Star Wars” movies being produced since Disney purchased...
