Honda said it noticed a high demand of Odyssey fuel pump replacement parts in October 2012. After investigating the problem, Honda said the cause of the cracks was “prolonged exposure to acidic chemicals and a high temperature environment. What Honda will do. Due to the large number of affected vehicles in the recall, Honda will not have a sufficient supply of replacement covers in stock until this summer.
