Attempted burglary--Aug. Public intoxication--Aug. A drunk man was seen knocking on doors and yelling for help. His mother declined to pick him up. He was taken to the Santa Clara County Main County Jail. Theft--Aug. A glass water pipe, $1,200 cash and various items were reported stolen some time between Aug. 12 and Aug. Theft--Aug. Vehicle burglary--Aug. Two witnesses saw a man trying to break into a victim's blue 1999 Honda Civic. Defrauding an innkeeper--Aug. Theft--Aug. Residential burglary--Aug. Someone pried open a side garage door and kicked in a door to a home. Property was reportedly stolen from the home. Shoplifting--Aug. A 70-year-old man was cited for stealing merchandise from a store. The man was seen taking merchandise on four prior occasions. Store employees were unsure if he was stealing items on purpose or was confused. Residential burglary--Aug. 10 two suspects entered a resident's garage and stole items.
