Westminster man injured in wrong-way crash on 140 - Sentinel & Enterprise
WESTMINSTER -- A wrong-way crash on Route 140 northbound sent a 42-year-old Westminster man to Heywood Hospital for an evaluation Monday, a state police spokesman said. Callers said the man was driving his 2010 Honda Civic erratically and struck a guardrail several times before ending up on Route 140 northbound, said Sgt. He struck a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by a 22-year-old woman from Winchendon about 3:25 p. m. , Ryan said. Traffic was impacted for about a half hour, he said. State police were investigating the crash. No charges had been filed as of Monday afternoon, Ryan said.
