Robbery at a US Bank in Webb City - KOAM-TV
On Friday, August 14, 2015 at 14:47 hours officers with the Webb City Police Department were called to 1723 South Madison (US Bank) in Webb City in reference to an armed robbery. The suspect fled the bank in grey 2004 Dodge Ram four door truck. At 15:12 hours officers spotted the Dodge truck used in the robbery abandoned in a nearby apartment complex (1836 South Oronogo in Webb City) parking lot. The Dodge truck had been reported stolen on August 5, 2015 from Joplin. The license plate on the truck had been reported stolen on August 5, 2015 also from Joplin. A K-9 track from the truck lead officers to a nearby apartment building. Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office along with officers from the Joplin Police Department and agents with the Joplin office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation are assisting with the investigation.
