2006-2011 Hyundai Azera, Sonata Sedans Recalled For Corrosion Issue - The Car Connection

Hyundai is recalling certain 2006-2011 Hyundai Azera and Sonata sedans in 20 cold-weather or “salt belt” states and the District of Columbia to address a potential corrosion issue. A notice on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website puts the number of vehicles potentially affected by the recall at 239,000. The recall follows an earlier NHTSA preliminary investigation (PE13007) of rear control arm failure after receiving six complaints alleging rear suspension control arm failures related to corrosion in 2006 Hyundai Sonata sedans.
