Driver in Aug. 3 crash on CR 225A dies from injuries - Ocala

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said Theresia Conley died Sunday at Ocala Regional Medical Center. Conley was the driver of a 2004 Hyundai Elantra that crashed on Aug. A young passenger in Conley’s vehicle, Zachary Bode, 6, remains in critical but stable condition at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, according to the boy’s mother. Authorities said the Hyundai was stopped on the west shoulder of County Road 225A, south of Northwest 62nd Place, attempting to make a U-turn. John Peterson, 73, the driver of a 2011 Chevy Tahoe, was traveling south on CR 225A. The Hyundai turned in front of the Chevy.
