Update: A 72-year old woman driving in suburban Sacramento Sunday struck a minivan carrying Angela and Ken “KC” Osborn, their four children and a young niece. KC Osborn was pronounced dead on the scene and the couple’s youngest daughter was declared brain dead Tuesday night. Sacramento resident Regina Wander’s Hyundai Santa Fe crossed from her southbound lane on Wyda Way directly into oncoming traffic, ultimately striking the passenger side of the Osborn’s Chrysler minivan. Nagy reportedly did not sustain any injuries, and the Osborn’s niece received only scrapes and bruises. Angela Osborn and her other three children were all hospitalized. KC Osborn was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Michelle Osborn, aged 10, was placed on life support at the hospital but was pronounced brain dead on Tuesday. “My family and I have made the difficult decision to donate her organs to children in need,” Angela Osborn posted on Facebook Wednesday morning, “So at least something good can come out of this terrible, terrible, terrible, tragedy. It was initially believed that Wander had run a stop sign before striking the minivan, but Officer Jenna Berry of the CHP reported Tuesday evening that no stop sign or traffic light was involved.
