Less than a full-bore M4, but far more than the typical 4 Series, this performance coupe has been fitted with some of the choicest parts from the BMW catalogue. This includes a Track Handling Package, which is new for the 2016 model year, and includes 18-inch Orbit Grey alloy wheels, M Sport brakes, along with Adaptive M Suspension and variable sport steering settings. The 4 Series ZHP also comes with an M Performance limited-slip differential, revised engine air intake, and a stainless-steel exhaust that is 8. 8 lbs. Software tweaks have also helped boost power and, according to BMW, helps to amplify exhaust “burble” in all driving conditions. Horsepower and torque are boosted to 335-hp and 332 lb. -ft. – though the latter figure dips to 317 lb. -ft. if you choose the 6-speed manual, versus the 8-speed automatic with paddle-shifters. In case you're not in the loop with BMW trivia, the ZHP option code first rose to fame with the 2003-2006 E46 3 Series. Highs, Lows, Faves of the 2015 New York Auto Show - Motor Trend

The antifreeze green Honda Civic Concept made the biggest buzz at New York for me. An all-new platform for the Civic is very big news, as a host of other vehicles from CUVs to Acura products will utilize chassis and powertrain components. In addition to a 2. 0-liter naturally aspirated VTEC inline-four, Honda teased with a shot of a 1. 5-liter turbocharged inline-four, with what looked to be a front-mount intercooler. They also dropped news that Civic will come to the U. S. as a sedan, coupe, and five-door hatchback. But the news that will tickle the "Fast and Furious" generation is the Civic Type R is finally coming to the U. S. , likely in time for "Fast 9. " Edward Loh I've often thought of the New York auto show as the show that features cars that regular... The Civic hasn't really been worth buying in years, but this new Honda Civic Concept certainly turns things around. For the first time since the original "Fast and Furious" movies, this Civic is actually desirable. It looks wonderful, it comes in more than one body style, and most importantly, with new turbocharged engines joining the lineup, it's actually interesting from an engineering standpoint. I'm a big believer in show cars. Anyhow, yeah, the best car at the 2015 New York International Auto Show is the Lincoln Continental Concept.
