De nieuwe Nissan Navara is er. Met een nieuw design, andere kleuren en een volledig hertekend interieur. De Nissan Navara, die zowel met een enkele als een dubbele cabine wordt verkocht, bevat naast de in de intro al opgesomde nieuwigheden ook een kersvers onderstel, voorzien van een nieuwe vijf-link achterwielophanging voor de Double Cab-versie. Het comfort en stuurgedrag is daarmee aanzienlijk verbeterd, terwijl de ophanging 20 kilo minder weegt dan het bladveersysteem van de vorige generatie. De King Cab, de versie voor het ruigere werk, is uitgerust met betere bladveren. Tevens is de draaicirkel verkleind om ook in de stad van enig nut te zijn. Dat weet Nissan maar al te goed en dus is de Navara ontworpen om flink te kunnen worden belast. De zogeheten C-profielen met verschuifbare klemmen in de laadbak zijn ontworpen om lading van alle soorten en maten veilig vast te zetten. Voor nog meer bruikbaarheid is de laadvloer van de Double Cab-uitvoering met 67 mm verlengd tot 1. 578 mm. De King Cab biedt een laadlengte van 1. 788 mm. Moderner interieur.
