Taylor Clark's family thanks police; suspect's car found - Belleville News-Democrat

Police say they have located the car of a man suspected of murdering Southern Illinois University Edwardsville student Taylor Clark. But they have not yet been able to locate the gun used to kill Clark while he showed his 2007 Nissan 350 ZX to a potential customer around noon Monday in north St. Louis County. Meantime, Clark’s father, Robert Clark, thanked police for their work in the case and announced funeral arrangements for their son. “I want to say thank you to everyone who helped spread the word about my son’s disappearance,” Robert Clark said. Police have not said what they hope to find in suspect Michael Gordon’s BMW, which was located Thursday in St. Louis. According to investigators, Gordon used to drive a 350ZX similar to the one Clark was selling, but it was recently repossessed. Police allege Gordon asked the victim to bring the car to the MTC truck driver school in Hazelwood for a test drive. Investigators say Gordon got into the car with Clark and they drove to a secluded area near abandoned railroad tracks. A short time later, a witness told police Gordon returned to work alone, in Clark’s car. Hackensack man charged in Turnpike crash involving military Humvee - NJ.com

HAMILTON -- The driver who late Friday caused a crash on the NJ Turnpike that forced a U. S. Army Humvee to hit a tree, seriously injuring four soldiers, has been charged with reckless driving, police said. Ramdel Magloire, 43, of Hackensack, was driving a 2007 Nissan 350z southbound on the Turnpike between exit 7 and 7a around 11:30 p. m. when he hit the rear of a Humvee , the last in a 12-vehicle convoy traveling to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst... Magloire tried to move to the center lane to pass when the two vehicles collided , Flynn said. He was flown to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton with serious injuries to his spine, Flynn said. Three passengers in the Humvee were also injured, Flynn said. Ainoy Rasvongsy, 34, of Watertown, N. Y. , John LeVulis, 25, of Eden, N. Y. , and Juan Ramirez, 21, of Livingston Manor, N. Y. , were also taken to Capital Health.
