Which was great because I had the 2015 Infiniti Q70L on-hand. Quiet Respect The Infiniti Q70 family is the newest incarnation of the discontinued Infiniti M line. It adds most notably over its predecessor a long-wheelbase, a hybrid drivetrain option, and advanced navigation features. But if you want something flashy, or even subtly prestigious, skip this review. Q70 is not your car. it doesn’t snarl when started or, alternatively, lurk with the solemn dark weight of other, more famous, town cars from Mercedes and Audi. If you want a soulless sedan save your money and go buy a Honda. Speed Or Lack Thereof The Q70 comes with two engine options, a 3. 7-liter V6 ($49,850) or the naturally aspirated, 5. 6-liter direct-injection V8 that I drove ($65,350). That one gets 416 horsepower on an intelligent (read: self-adjusting and... it has a seven-speed automatic transmission that gets 16 miles to the gallon in the city and 23 on the highway. " Unless you’re obsessed with this car’s design — nothing wrong with that — and can’t get enough of it, there’s nothing to see as this Q70L is like any of its standard siblings. Infiniti did use a different exterior color for this concept, called Arctic Aluminum (borrowed from the Q60 Concept). Additionally, the gray wood trim, which allows a smooth transition between the black and white surfaces of the dashboard, the door panels, and the center console, is different than any option you can get with the regular Q70L. At least here in the... Infiniti says the interior of the Bespoke Edition is meant to fill the gap between the interiors of the company’s production cars and the more outlandish cabins of its concept vehicles, ". hinting at how the artistry of Infiniti’s concept cars can... " Unfortunately, there’s no word as to whether the Bespoke Edition will go into production or whether its lavish interior will be offered as an option at some point. Drivetrain There’s no word as to what motivates this concept car, but should it become a production model, customers will get to choose from the two drivetrains available for the China-spec Q70L.
