According to the Police Department, a man in the parking lot pointed a gun at the other man, who was in the restaurant's outdoor patio area. The gunman did not shoot his gun, but instead then got in his car, a white 2011 Honda Accord, and drove away. Police later looked for him at his home and elsewhere in Fayetteville. A 19-year-old man allegedly led Burlington police on a chase through two towns before jumping from his car while it was still in gear Tuesday, forcing an officer to block the moving vehicle with a cruiser.
