Yep, it costs a bit more, but if you want or need to haul up to nine passengers and cargo regularly in a luxury manner, you need to go with the GMC Yukon Denali XL – fitted with a few extras. We had occasion early this summer to thoroughly test a new 2015 GMC Yukon Denali XL 4WD in Midnight Amethyst Metallic with a Cocoa/Dark Atmosphere interior on a 10-day and a nearly 3,000 mile round-trip from Austin, Texas to Lake Michigan. Our ride and drive Yukon Denali XL 4WD came with more than enough power to do the job under any road conditions. August 18, 2015 - 12:01 am ET General Motors' biggest SUVs at Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac were redesigned for 2015 just as Americans, aided by falling fuel prices and fatigue with the family sedan, started reconnecting with SUVs and crossovers. The revamped 2015 GMC Yukon, Yukon XL and flagship Yukon Denali models feature more capability and refinement, greater performance, new fold-flat rear seats and a quieter interior. A look at some reviews of the Yukon family. Heck, you can even say that I like the Chevrolet Suburban, Cadillac Escalade and this 2015 GMC Yukon XL Denali. A couple of nights in it saw me using all the generous cargo space on a supply run for the family restaurant and then the following night I hauled five people to the movies in a snow storm. Both the second- and third-row of seats are power folding and fold flat. The next night it was off to see "Taken 3" with a car full of friends who enjoyed all the space and comfort in the Yukon XL Denali's interior. Heated second-row seats were a hit and all the legroom was enjoyed, preventing people from being scrunched together. For the restaurant supply run, I'm sure a minivan or something like a Ford Transit Connect or Nissan NV would have done the trick just fine. We had to expect that out test drive was completely loaded with every available option that GM had to offer, so off to the internet we went just to make sure, we certainly would want to drive a substandard vehicle right. Turns out that even though our tester topped out at $77,925, this included a $500 discount on the Open Road Package, there were some smaller items like floor mats, roof rails, splash guards and front console organizers that could put the price at...
