Less than a year after debuting the 2015 GMC Yukon Denali , General Motors is already updating the model with a new eight-speed transmission that will replace the aging six-speed. When paired with rear-wheel drive, the updated 2015 GMC Yukon Denali and Yukon Denali XL achieve 15/22 mpg city/highway, up 1 mpg from last year's highway rating. Four-wheel drive Yukon Denali models are rated at 15/21 mpg, an increase of 1 mpg in the city. its fuel economy ratings will likely match those of the Yukon Denali and Denali XL. The 2015 GMC Sierra and 2015 Chevrolet Silverado also receive the eight-speed upgrade for 6. 2-liter V-8 models previously saddled with a six-speed transmission. Fuel economy for these twinned pickups remains the same in rear-wheel-drive models (steady at 15/21/17 mpg city/highway/combined), but there's a slight uptick for four-wheel-drive models. The 2015 GMC Yukon Denali's new fuel economy ratings are on par with the V-6-powered 2015 Lincoln Navigator , but exceed eight-cylinder models like the Toyota Sequoia Platinum and Infiniti QX80. More commonly known as the garage door opening system, the Universal Home Remote can be highly convenient, as it provides a way replace up to three remote control transmitters used to activate garage door openers and Home security systems. Press and hold the two outside buttons at the same time, releasing only when the Universal Home Remote indicator light begins to flash. Hold your Universal Home transmitter about 1-3 inches away from the Universal Home Remote buttons while keeping the indicator light in view. At the same time, press and hold the button to be programmed and the handheld transmitter button. Do not release either button until the indicator light on the Universal Home Remote flashes slowly at first and then rapidly after a successful program. Press and hold the newly-trained Universal Home Remote button and observe the indicator light. If the Universal Home Remote indicator light blinks rapidly for two seconds and then turns to a constant light, then continue with the following steps: Go to the garage door opener receiver motor head unit and locate the learn or smart button. Firmly press the button and release the smart button. Once back in the vehicle, firmly press and hold the button on the Universal Home Remote that you selected previously for 2 seconds.
