Tips Sought on Suspect Vehicle from Yeti Cooler Theft - Radio NB

(New Braunfels, TX) — The New Braunfels Police Department is seeking tips from the public in an effort to identify a vehicle believed associated with the theft of two Yeti coolers back in July. On July 11th, 2015, in the moments following the theft, a newer model Ford F250 or F350 crew cab pickup truck (possibly the King Ranch edition) was seen leaving the parking lot of the Hampton Inn, located in the 500 block of Hwy 46 South. The truck is dark colored with a lighter colored bottom and wheel flairs (possibly silver or gold). The stolen coolers, taken from the back of a pickup truck parked in the hotel parking lot, are both white in color. Anyone with information on this vehicle or the stolen items is asked to call Crime Stoppers or New Braunfels Police. Police charge Lewes man with multiple thefts of tools - The News Journal

State police arrested a Lewes man Friday for stealing multiple tools from unlocked vehicles in the Long Neck, Lewes and Rehoboth area in the past month. , 41 of Lewes, was charged with burglary, 17 counts of theft, criminal mischief and nine counts of criminal trespass after entering vehicles, stealing tools, saws and chainsaws and rummaging through belongings in unlocked vehicles often in parking... In most cases, Rausch stole the tools from vehicles and then attempted to re-sell them to construction workers often nearby, Bratz said. On July 15, a man, later identified as Rausch and driving the same vehicle, was attempting to sell a chop saw at a construction site near Lewes Crossing at Beaver Dam Road, Bratz said. About a week later, a contractor contacted police about a white man in a Hyundai Accent who attempted to sell tools to his employees at a contruction side near the Coastal Club in Lewes, Bratz said.
