Where the current Ram 3500 Heavy Duty is rated to tow up to 30,000 pounds, the 2016 model is tow-rated up to 31,210 pounds. Let's look at the facts here, Ram has kept up & over powered with best in class torque and towing. While Ford & Chevy can't even keep up with 8 cylinders. Plus Ford still uses a C channel chassis. That's the Fact to this annoying Raul chick that can't take it and has to act like a child lost his Tanka Truck. Aren't you always calling everyone trolls for going on Ford articles and talking about a different automaker. Cummins come from the factory "asleep". My 2014 Ram 3500 is running about 1100lb-ft and hasn't lost any driveability. I love the fact Ram beefed up the rear axle to safely handle the additional power and towing capability. Smart that they got in front of the 2016 Powerstroke so that Ford knows where the current bar is. As a diesel fanatic, I am impressed. Hopefully the next-gen Ram HD will be lighter to fully exploit the power and towing potential.
