With the shell of an SUV in place, Hennessey then adds in four full-size doors, cargo doors for the rear, captain’s chairs in for the middle-row seats, and third-row bench seats. This standard setup allows the VelociRaptor to haul up to seven people, but buyers can upgrade it to eight people with the optional middle-row bench seat. Under the hood, the VelociRaptor has three optional engine upgrade packages available, including one diesel unit. The least powerful is the VelociRaptor 600 package, which takes the 6. 2-liter engine up to 600 horsepower at 5,700 rpm. Finally, there is also a diesel option in the form of the F-250?s 6. 7-liter PowerStroke engine that produces 440 horsepower and 860 pound-feet of torque.
