That’s what Shelby American has in the Baja 700, an upgraded take on the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor. Just 50 of the Shelby Baja 700s will be built, a limited run for the most powerful Shelby truck ever. But the power isn’t the only upgrade for the Baja 700. In fact, one of the key upgrades is an area where the F-150 SVT Raptor already shines: the suspension. Taking the seriously capable off-road suspension and upgrading it even further should put the Baja 700 very close to race truck territory. The all-new Raptor features a unique purpose-built frame that is the strongest in the F-150 lineup and has more high-strength steel than the outgoing Raptor. Hennessey Offers More Upgrades For Ford's F-150 Raptor: Video - Motor Authority

Ford’s F-150 SVT Raptor isn’t only one of the best selling pickup trucks around . it’s also one of the most popular in the tuning scene. The Texan tuner is now offering three power levels for its tuned Raptor: 475, 600 and 800 horsepower. They all fall under Hennessey's VelociRaptor branding and are designed for Raptors equipped with the 6. 2-liter V-8 engine and not the older 5. 4-liter unit. The 475-horsepower upgrade relies on your usual breathing mods and an ECU retune. However, the 600- and 800-horsepower upgrades sees forced induction added. In the video above, Hennessey pits its 600-horsepower Raptor against a stock model in a good ol’ drag race. Note, if an SUV is more your thing, Hennessey can convert the Ford Raptor into one by adding rear housing, more seats and a split tailgate.
