Spartanburg County deputies asking for help in locating stolen vehicles - Spartanburg Herald Journal

The first incident involving a 2007 Hyundai Sonata occurred around 8:30 p. m. Aug. In both cases, the vehicle owners left the vehicles unlocked and the keys in the ignition, according to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies believe one unidentified person is responsible for both vehicle thefts based on surveillance footage. Clerks at each station told deputies the individual responsible was seen loitering nearby for close to one hour before stealing the vehicles, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office is asking those with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or investigator Matt Davis at 864-503-4593.
