Test Drive: 2015 Jaguar XJ 3.0 All-Wheel Drive by AutoNation - eGMCarTech

Not too long ago, I had the chance to test drive the latest and greatest Jaguar XJ to date. Jaguar’s been making the XJ since the planet Earth was born and has endured many generations. And yet, despite a troubled history, the XJ has finally evolved after Jaguar realized it wasn’t 1951 any more. Bearing the revival of a famed nameplate for American soil, this new “XJ6” comes with Jaguar-Land Rover’s latest AJV6 with 3. 0L of displacement and a supercharger. That means this XJ is the first six-cylinder powered XJ sedan since 1995, which was later retired and replaced by their first V8. The result nonetheless for this new mill is 340hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. Simply put, the Jaguar XJ is for those who like to drive rather than be driven. Source: www.egmcartech.com
