Old Blue Eyes’ ride was this beautiful Jaguar JX-S while the legendary singer’s wife received a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. The esteemed artist was honored at the Kennedy Center Honors in 1983 and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Ronald Reagan in 1985 and the Congressional Gold Medal in 1997. The 1976 Jaguar XJ-S features a stunning Classic British Racing Green finish that was reportedly chosen to reflect the green in Barbara’s eyes. The classic beauty comes along with the other great piece of automotive history, a 1976 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow sedan the iconic artist gave to his wife. It has an impressive Peacock Blue finish reportedly chosen for the same reason, namely to reflect the blue in Old Blue Eyes most well-known and distinguishing physical feature. As opposed to the other unit, this car was completely stripped to bare metal and repainted in 2012.
