The Faulkner County Sheriff's Office has reported that Richard Charles Kaufman, 44, of Faulkner County, has been found after his arrest in Guadalupe County, New Mexico. Richard Charles Kaufman, 44, of Faulkner County is missing, according to a family member who reported to the sheriff’s office on July 9. After no leads stemming from the initial report or BOLO issued that day, his mother, Maggie Sullivan, and a... Kaufman’s date of birth is June 17, 1971. He is a white male, 5’11’’, weighs 250 pounds, and has red hair and hazel eyes. Kaufman is a United States Navy veteran. He is diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and has received treatment through the VA hospitals in Little Rock and North Little Rock. Sullivan says his VA case manager also has not heard from him. Sullivan stressed that Kaufman is most likely off his medications and could be armed with a knife. Kaufman pleaded guilty to felony assault in February 2010 in Faulkner County, and is currently serving a 72-month probation. He left in a white 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 that was not registered to him, but he was an insured driver on the vehicle.
