Officers responded to a report of a vehicle parked in the middle of a residential street. The vehicle, a gray 1994 Honda Accord, was located with a man asleep in the driver’s seat. The driver showed signs of intoxication and failed a field sobriety test. He was arrested and booked for a violation of the vehicle code and an outstanding warrant. The driver of a gold 2001 Infiniti QX4 was stopped for a vehicle code violation. The officer determined upon contact that the driver had been drinking and could smell alcohol on his person. The driver, who failed a field sobriety test, is unlicensed in California. Officers stopped the driver of a gray 2010 Subaru Forester after she was involved in a road rage incident through the city. The driver admitted she had been drinking and had taken muscle relaxants. Her balance was impaired and she failed a field sobriety test. The driver was arrested and booked into Marin County Jail. The driver, who is unlicensed, admitted to drinking beer before the accident and failed field sobriety tests. He was arrested and booked at Marin County Jail and his truck was impounded. He displayed signs of being under the influence of drugs and admitted to having used drugs, despite being on probation with a “no drug” clause. Source: www.marinscope.com
