Dennis police to hold auction August 24 - Cape Cod Today
SOUTH DENNIS - If you are in the market for an inexpensive iPod or bicycle, the Dennis Police Department is holding an auction on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 10 a. m. at the old Dennis DPW building. Higher ticket items including a 1997 Infiniti Q45 Sedan and a Hobie Cat. Additional items may be added and the items listed above are subject to change, said Lt. Benson. While Dennis holds a live auction, several towns including Provincetown and Falmouth opt for the online auction of goods via PropertyRoom. Police department auctions are authorized by MA General Law Chapter 135 Section 8. The former DPW building is located at 30 Bob Crowell Road in South Dennis.
