Authorities: Drunk driver charged with involuntary manslaughter - Washington Post

Authorities charged a man with involuntary manslaughter after a fatal car crash in Manassas, where investigators said he drove drunk, hit a utility pole and killed his passenger. Carroll Arness Smith of Woodbridge was arrested shortly after the Sunday morning collision and charged with driving under the influence and driving on a revoked license. Smith was driving a 1996 Infiniti I30t south on Centreville Road when it veered off the road near Rugby Road and struck a pole, investigators said. Source: www.washingtonpost.com
