First drive 2015 Infiniti Q60 IPL convertible: A hidden jewel - Examiner.com

Like flipping through Netflix and finding a movie you never heard of and finding out after watching it that it was full of surprises and entertaining. we liked, liked it a great deal. When told we would be getting a year newer model , the 2015 Q60 convertible, we didn’t expect much, after all a little pre-delivery research showed us that there has been no significant changes, the model is due for a refresh in 2016, but for 2015... Yes, our model carried with it many of the same features the 2014 did, but our 2105 came with an extra designation of three letters, IPL. IPL stands for Infiniti Performance Line and for us that means we got just a little more than our last Q60. On paper it doesn’t look like much. a few more horses, 343 from 325, and a few feet pounds more torque, 273 from 267, but on the road it turns out it makes a big, big difference. The IPL model, which is a limited production one, includes an array of special performance and luxury upgrades. In addition to the extra horsepower and torque, it adds 19-inch IPL split 7-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels with Graphite finish, Sport Brakes, IPL-tuned exhaust and suspension, unique front fascia and side sills and climate-controlled front seats... Some have criticized the fact that there have been no real design upgrades since 2008, but the design still looks modern and sleek. Source: www.examiner.com
