Driver flown to Boston hospital following Route 6 crash in North Truro - Cape Cod Today

NORTH TRURO - Several people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Route 6 at South Hollow Road in North Truro Sunday afternoon. According to a Truro police release, the crash occurred in the southbound lane around 3 p. m. . The injuries of those involved in the crash ranged from minor to serious, police said. Truro police identified both drivers, 22-year-old Felipe Dos-Santos of Everett, MA was driving a 2014 Jeep Patriot and 38-year-old Sarah Morrisey of Bloomingdale, NJ was driving a 2012 Honda Civic. All of the victims were extricated from the vehicles and transported to Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis with the exception of Morrisey who was flown to a Boston-area hospital. In addition to Truro officers and firefighters, firefighters from Wellfleet and Provincetown and Lower Cape Ambulance personnel assisted at the scene. The crash is being investigated by Truro police with the assistance of the Cape Cod Regional Accident Reconstruction Team. Commenters may not attack or insult other commenters, readers or writers.
