Three bottles of wine and two cans of Four Loko, a flavored alcoholic drink, were found inside the SUV being driven by the woman, Arianna Y. Nunez, according to written police reports. Police said her blood-alcohol content registered at nearly three times the level that defines intoxication under Illinois law. A store manager told police she noted Nunez acting erratically after she arrived to work an evening shift. The manager said Nunez "was having a difficult time punching in to the time clock … and also appeared to have a difficult time with her balance," a police narrative read in part. The manager said she "suspected that (Nunez) might be under the influence" of alcohol or drugs, and told her to meet with her in the employee break room, according to the narrative.
