Butte Police Report. Two 19-year-old Butte sisters were arrested on multiple complaints in connection with a hit-and-run shortly after midnight Thursday in the area of Park and Clark streets. Police say Kourtney Coverdell was attempting to hide the suspect vehicle into the garage at a residence on the 1200 block of Granite Street. Her sister Kaylynn came outside and allegedly became angry and ignored requests by police officers to step back, and then gave a phony birth date and resisted arrest. The suspect vehicle was traveling west on Park Street when police say it hit the front end of a 1993 Jeep Cherokee traveling north on Clark Street driven by a 32-year-old Butte woman, who left the scene to call police. Kaylynn was cited with resisting arrest, obstructing a peace officer and possession of alcohol, all misdemeanors. Frank Barber, 60, of Butte reported he was stabbed in the head with keys by his 52-year-old girlfriend Wednesday night on the 100 block of Terra Verde Drive. The woman reported she left the residence to sleep in a car after they argued. Police say the man's wound was self-inflicted and he was the primary aggressor. Police are seeking a warrant for a 39-year-old woman who allegedly knocked her 44-year-old husband to the floor and kicked him several times inside a bar in the first lock of West Park Street early Thursday morning.
