The 26-year-old female driver and her 27-year-old fiancé left against medical professionals' advice, said Bay County Undersheriff Troy Cunningham. A 27-year-old female passenger and mother to four of the six children in the 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee was discharged by hospital staff, Cunningham said. "It's unknown whether they went back to Ohio or somewhere else," Cunningham said, adding the investigation into the crash is ongoing. The Jeep also contained 75-year-old Jerry Sloane in the front passenger seat. The six children — two age 9, one age 8, two age 6, and one age 3 — were in the Jeep's cargo area, along with the 27-year-old female passenger. None of the kids were in car seats or wearing seat belts, Cunningham has said. The driver lost control of the Jeep and veered across two lanes of traffic before rolling four to five times and coming to rest on its roof in the median, Cunningham has said. The mother in the back and two of her children were ejected during the wreck, Cunningham added. All six children have since been discharged, Cunningham said.
