The company saw an increase of 6% in its sales on year-over-year basis, as the sales reached 178,027 units. This has been the best July sales for the company since 2005. Jeep brand reported an increase of 23% in its sales on year-over-year grounds. Jeep Patriot witnessed an increase of 22% in sales whereas Renegade saw an increase of 30% in its sales. Kelley Blue Book (KBB) had earlier predicted a sale of 175,000 units whereas Edmunds had given an estimate of 180,000 units for the company. As far as the individual vehicle performance is concerned, the Jeep brand was able to set a sale record of 22 consecutive months by selling 73,216 units for the month of July. Jeep Renegade was able to report sales of 6,320 units in July that was almost 30% higher than the sales of last month. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N. V.
