Report: Jeep Wrangler production to stay in Toledo - The Courier
Jeep Wranglers will continue to be produced in Toledo, while a new vehicle will also be built at the Jeep Toledo Complex, according to a report from Automotive News . Production of the Jeep Cherokee will leave Toledo to make room for the new Jeep... Jeep previously produced a pickup truck called the Gladiator from 1962 to 1988. Chrysler revealed a Jeep Gladiator concept vehicle in 2005 but later opted against putting the vehicle into production. Is always good when folks keep their jobs, but from the beginning, I thought they had spoke about moving the production of Jeep elsewhere because of going to aluminum, but were going to bring another line in so there would be no job loss. Jeep workers are very fortunate to have the management willing to work with them to continue producing a great product, but, what exactly did this cost the City of Toledo now and beyond to keep the label.
