Trooper finds marijuana in disabled vehicle in Scott Co. - WISH-TV
(WISH) — Stopping to help a disabled vehicle on I-65 in Scott County turned into a drug bust for an Indiana State Police trooper. Trooper Tracy Spencer stopped to check on a vehicle near mile marker 30 on Thursday. The driver said the vehicle, a 2013 Kia Soul with Georgia license plates, was out of gas. While talking with the two occupants, Spencer smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A K-9 unit was called and discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the back seat of the car. Woodley, 27, of St. Louis, was charged with posession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
