Woman carjacked at gunpoint at Victory Crossing apartments - Columbus Ledger-Enquirer

A gunman carjacked a 30-year-old Phenix City woman late Tuesday outside of Victory Crossing apartments, Columbus police said. An officer said he was called to the 3390 North Lumpkin Road apartment complex around 11:58 p. m. Tuesday, minutes after the carjacking. The victim told police she was walking up the stairs when a slim, 6-foot black man with a high-top fade approached her and demanded the keys to her green 2013 Kia Sorento. The gunmen fled the scene in her $17,200 SUV, heading north on North Lumpkin Road. The Kia Sorento has a large dent on the right side of the trunk and an Alabama tag that reads “57BT568,” police said. Source: www.ledger-enquirer.com
