COLUMBIA, Mo. • Terry Beckner Jr. , the top prize in Missouri’s 2015 recruiting class, still has “some work to do” to become academically eligible to enroll at Mizzou, Tigers coach Gary Pinkel said during Wednesday’s SEC conference call. Beckner, the five-star prospect from East St. Louis, chose Missouri over Auburn, Florida State and Ohio State on national signing day back in February. We’ll see what happens in the next month or so. “But he’s certainly a guy who can come in — we want all our players to come in and compete to play — but with his size, strength and competitiveness he can come and certainly compete to play right away.
