2016 Kia Optima Shown Ahead of New York Debut - Automobile
As our spy photos showed, the 2016 Kia Optima will have an evolutionary design change, retaining the same basic shape as before but a more rounded front fascia, a wider "tiger nose" grille between reshaped headlights, and more aggressive air... Although the automaker says the 2016 Kia Optima will have "multiple" powertrain options, it's unclear how many will carry over from the current version of the sedan. and a hybrid that combines a 2. 4-liter inline-four gas engine and an electric motor for a total of 199 hp. As for technologies, expect the 2016 Kia Optima to adopt active-safety features that until now have been unavailable on the car. Although a back-up camera and blind-spot warning with cross-traffic alert are available as an option on today's Optima, expect the new model to also add the forward collision warning systems that are now necessary to score highly in the Insurance...
