Man killed in six-vehicle pileup - Arkansas Online
A motorcyclist was killed and two other people were injured in a six-vehicle pileup on U. S. 71 in Rogers on Saturday, Arkansas State Police reported. Donald Gene Lyons, 60, was driving a 1989 Ford van south on U. S. 71 at 9 p. m. when he rear-ended a 2008 BMW motorcycle, according to a preliminary report. Lyons' van also hit a 2000 Ford Explorer and a 2012 Toyota 4-Runner, both of which were traveling south, state police said. The collision caused the Explorer to hit a northbound 2002 Kia Sportage. The identities of those driving the 4-Runner, Chevrolet and Sportage were not provided in the report. NW News on 09/01/2015.
