14, around 10:20 a. m. in the parking lot near Creative Image Hair Salon at 708 North Main Street. The victim told police she arrived at the salon around 8:50 a. m. When she was leaving around 10:15 a. m. , she noticed the driver’s-side window of her silver 2007 Kia Sorento had been knocked out. A witness told police she was walking north on Main Street when she noticed a heavy-set white male wearing black gym shorts and white T-shirt running south on Main Street and carrying an item in his hand. The witness said the man ran across Main Street and behind some apartments on Indiana Street. · On Saturday, May 16, around 2:25 p. m. , a woman was leaving Bedazzled Hair Salon, 502 North Main Street, when she noticed a white male sitting inside her pickup truck. The woman said she saw the man grab her red leather purse that was in the front seat of her vehicle. The victim said she began striking the car’s window in an attempt to break the glass, but the suspect sped off toward the Ga. Highway 1 Bypass. Returning to her vehicle, the woman found the passenger-side rear window was broken, but aside from her purse, no other items were missing.
