The impound lots in Dufferin County are holding onto some pretty valuable merchandise, after Dufferin OPP charged four motorists for street racing in one day this past weekend. All four incidents, involving an Aston Martin, Lamborghini Huracán, BMW and a motorcycle, occurred on Saturday (Aug. At about 1:48 p. m. on Saturday, Dufferin OPP says officers clocked an Aston Martin travelling 150 km/h while passing cars on an uphill portion of Airport Road in Mono. His driver’s license was suspended for seven days while his vehicle was impounded for a week. Dufferin OPP also clocked a black 2015 Lamborghini Huracán travelling 157 km/h while attempting to pass on an uphill portion of Airport Road in Mono as well. Her driver’s license was suspended for seven days while her Lamborghini was impounded for a week. While conducting radar enforcement on Highway 10, officers reportedly clocked a BMW motorcycle travelling 155 km/h on the 80 km stretch of road. His driver’s license was suspended for seven days while his vehicle was impounded for a week. While conducting radar enforcement on County Road 12, police reportedly clocked a BMW M6G travelling 144 km/h on the road, which is posted as an 80 km zone.
