Changes Announced For 2016 Land Rover Line-up - The Car Guide
Following the introduction of the Land Rover Discovery Sport last year, the English brand is adding a diesel engine and new technology to their line-up for the 2016 model year. The turbo-diesel 3. 0L V6, called Td6, will make its North American debut in the 2016 Range Rover and 2016 Range Rover Sport. However, the turbo-diesel V6 is said to deliver a 32-percent improvement in fuel economy compared to the gas V6. The 2016 Range Rover SVAutobiography replaces last year’s range-topping Autobiography Black Edition. The 2016 Range Rover Evoque gets a mild reskin, with full LED headlights and taillights, a new front bumper, new grille designs, a new tailgate spoiler and new colours. Inside, the Evoque gets a redesigned dashboard, new seat designs and new colours. All 2016 Land Rover models except the LR4 also benefit from InControl REMOTE, a smartphone app that connects to the vehicle and allows the owner to remotely start it, check fluid levels and even find it in a crowded parking lot.
